HOME is a collection of photographs connecting my twenty years of life by what was home for the first twelve years of my life in Alberta,
Canada, and what is now becoming my home over these last eight years in Arizona, United States. These years are represented by
connecting the horizon lines of the twenty landscapes, twelve Alberta, eight Arizona. The arrangement of photographs present a
timeline starting with landscapes of my becoming home and then rewinding back to my original home. All these landscape images
were taken on different hikes throughout my life and are all separate individual images. Surrounding images both above and below the
timeline are small details found on these very hikes (clouds above, flowers below, or the coastline beside me).

Being only a couple of years away from entering a new chapter in my life where I have lived in Arizona just as long as I have Alberta, I
became influenced to create a landscape project representing my feelings towards these places. My emotions behind each of these
different settings are now becoming connected as each year passes- thus connecting horizon lines. To me home isn’t just a physical place
such as a house; it’s an emotional bond towards the surroundings in my environment and feeling connected to it as well.
